he had an allergic reaction to a mosquito bite! not only was his ear swollen but he had another bite on his leg that had swelled to the size of a quarter. it was really sad when it started itching. he looked like a dog scratching and his little ear just flopped. his ears are really soft any way and the swelling didn't seem to affect the floppiness. poor troy boy :(

just looking at that first picture, I thought he had cut his hair... then I noticed his ear! So I'm laughing but only because of the little grin in that first picture... Poor thing...
Ouch! That's a pretty severe reaction.
OW! Auburn swells up bad too. :(
